My More Feminine Side...

Feeling the need to clear the air from my latest post. Here's to lightening the mood...It's my most recent project. I know that organizing stuff is not energizing for all women, but it is so therapeutic for me. These shelves are my pride and joy and I hesitate sharing them like I might hesitate sharing my own poetry (if I wrote poetry). They're my own personal work of art.
When chaos is winning (as it often does) in my homeschooling world and I can't seem to do anything about it, all I have to do is walk into my little laundry room and breathe in the order. Somehow it helps me face whatever is waiting for me outside of that tiny space. It has been a life saver for me so far this year--especially the pink peony in the white basket. It's truly the simple things that make all the difference!

I was thinking and decided to delete the comment I left a moment ago. Sorry if it offended in any way. Your shelves look amazing. All the homemade stuff sounds wonderful, especially the salsa.

I don't think you could ever offend me Anne Marie!

I actually didn't mean for this to post. My computer froze and I asked my boys to save it--not post it cause I had to run some errands. I didn't get time to reread or edit anything. I'm going to reread right now and see if I want to keep this up or not. Thanks for commenting.

Anne Marie, I changed my post. I have a feeling your original post (that I didn't see) may have had something to do with my labeling things masculine and feminine. Anyway--it didn't feel quite right, so this is my redo. I'm looking forward to getting caught up on your world when I get a chance to read your blog tonight. Take care!!

Don't you love being able to edit a blog! I did read your post earlier, but didn't get time to comment til now. All I can say is that I don't really hate teachers who give out candy at church, either. And, I will say that it was refreshing to read such a firm, articulate opinion from another angle on the issue at hand. You brought up some points I had never considered. I think anyone reading your blog can appreciate your intent and your heart.

Hey, friend, thanks for your comments on my blog and your replies here. I didn't think your previous post was a PMS'y one at all....just an opinion. I like when blog posts sometimes have a little kick or spice to them! Hope you're having a good one. I'd love to chat one of these days again! I always feel energized and cleansed after talking to you.

Looks like something out of a magazine! You inspire me! I'm sure only 1% of the population could post a proud picture of their closet on the internet and get away with it. You've come a long way, baby!!

Oh my gosh Tina, I love that room! I need a room like that right now-- everything in my life feels like chaos! I am going to have to take some action and follow your example ;)
